Niggas in Paris Official Video

Illuminati Niggas in Paris Video. LoL
Katy Perry and Russell Brand have reached a divorce settlement, more than a month after he filed the papers.
The 27-year-old pop singer and 36-year-old British comedian and actor "entered into a comprehensive written settlement of all issues," according to court documents filed at a Los Angles court on Tuesday, February 7. Perry signed the papers on February 3 and her signature included a smiley face. The divorce is expected to be finalized within six months.

Perry has often included smiley faces, as well as doodles of hearts, in her signatures, as seen in autographed photos of the singer that are on sale on eBay.
Brand filed for divorce on Dec. 30, 2011, citing irreconcilable differences. He and Perry have no children. According to her recent filing, the singer has asked to restore her maiden name to Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson and also does not want the court to have any jurisdiction to award Brand any spousal support.
Perry, the daughter of California Evangelical pastors, married Brand on October 23, 2010 in a traditional Hindu ceremony in Rajasthan, India, where he also proposed to her. Their divorce papers do not specify when they split.
Before their wedding, Brand told New York Magazine that he "ain't doing no pre-nup" with Perry. Without a prenuptial agreement, a divorcing couple must split their earnings 50/50, according to California law. Details about Perry's settlement with Brand have been kept private and the documents only state that the rights to their properties are to be determined.
Perry, one of the most popular pop singers in the world, who has also participated in high-profile ad campaigns for Proactiv acne treatments and ghd hair care products, is estimated to be worth at least $44 million, according to Forbes. Brand, who played a rock star in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and "Get Him To The Greek" and stars in the new "Rock of Ages" film with Tom Cruise is worth about $7 million .
People magazine quoted a source as saying that Brand is "not asking for cash from his higher-earning wife." He and Perry have not commented about their agreement. Perry and Brand began dating in September 2009 after Perry performed at the MTV Video Music Awards ceremony, which Brand had hosted.
The pair share a common love for pushing the envelope - Perry with her colorful, edgy outfits and music videos, including one where she sported braces, and Brand, a raunchy, no-holds-barred stand-up comedian and former heroin addict who was fired from his previous job on MTV in his native UK when he dressed up like Osama bin Laden the day after the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks.
KATY PERRY AT THE GRAMMYS
Perry is meanwhile preparing for her first major post-split appearance. She is set to perform at the 2012 Grammy Awards on Sunday.
"Just finished rehearsals for Grammy's..." she Tweeted late on Wednesday. "I'm. so. excited. #somethingscooking."
Perry is also set to perform on Friday, February 10 at the MusiCares Person of the Year Ceremony, which will pay tribute to Paul McCartney and feature other performers such as Tony Bennett, Coldplay and Neil Young. McCartney, the 69-year-old former member of the iconic British rock group The Beatles, is also set to sing at both events.

Nicki Minaj: Best New Artist Grammy?

It's getting increasingly difficult to think of Nicki Minaj as a new artist. If you judge the Young Money raptress by the time she's spent in the game, then she is no doubt a newcomer. On the other hand, if you measure the "Super Bass" star by her accomplishments, then she has accumulated enough stats in 14 months to rival some industry veterans.

Though it may seem unfair to some that she is even nominated, Nicki's accelerated artistic growth makes her a heavy favorite in the Best New Artist category at the 54th annual Grammy Awards on Sunday.
When weighted against other Best New noms like the Band Perry, Bon Iver, J. Cole and Skrillex, Nicki's path is a unique one. She started out an MC but grew into so much more under the direction of YM head honcho Lil Wayne. When Weezy first discovered Minaj rapping on a street DVD, she was as cocksure and combative as any of her male counterparts, but after signing with Young Money, Nicki used the platform to amplify the natural performance talents that existed within. There were glimpses on her 2009 mixtape Beam Me Up Scotty, but it wasn't until the Harajuku Barbie dropped her debut, Pink Friday, in November 2010 that her full potential was unleashed, when she displayed her passion for both rapping and singing.
Yes, technically her debut album was released in the 2010 calendar year, but the Grammy calendar does leave wiggle room and make her eligible for the Best New Artist nomination. The Queens, New York, rap star didn't start out the gate as hot as some speculated, but she did snag the #1 album spot on the Billboard charts in her 11th week. In October 2010, Minaj set a record for having the most singles on the Hot 100, notching seven songs at the same time. "Your Love," "Right Thru Me" and the Drake-featuring "Moment 4 Life" all made significant radio impact, but it was "Super Bass" that proved to be her biggest and most inescapable hit.
Nicki, with the help of alter ego Roman, has emerged as a strong visual artist as well through her "Moment 4 Life" video and the super colorful "Super Bass." The rap rook has also toured with Britney Spears and Lil Wayne.
It's also important to note that Nicki's prowess in the studio has led her to be a ubiquitous figure in pop culture. She has had a Barbie doll made in her likeness, inked a deal for her own nail polish with OPI, became the face of MAC's 2012 Viva Glam campaign and has either appeared on the covers or shot for too many glamour magazines to name.
Yes, Nicki Minaj does seem to be a lock for Best New Artist, but then again, this is the Grammys and no one ever thought Esperanza Spalding would beat out pop icon Justin Bieber. So maybe the Band Perry have a shot after all.

My pick here is J Cole. I hope he wins, even though Nicki has had MORE success.

Nicki Minaj Shines in Madonna Super Bowl Perfomance as Super Bowl breaks beyonce's Twitter record

Super Bowl XLVI yesterday broke all records on Twitter as fans worldwide sent more than 10,000 tweets per second during the climax of the sport showpiece, although opinion about Madonna's half-time show on the microblogging site wildly differed.
According to official statistics released by Twitter, the highest tweets per second came at the end of the NFL season finale, at a record-busting 12,23

The research indicated that the most commonly-used words in posts about Madonna yesterday were "amazing", "great", "good", "best", "bad" and "hating". We here at chigotoday think Nicki Minaj was saved the show from Madonna's lazy performance. btw
Meanwhile, separate research has indicated that crisp maker Doritos won the battle for the best commercial impact at the Super Bowl. With numerous companies launching expensive ads during the TV extravaganza, the contest to see who ran the most effective campaign is now intense.

Mitt Romney: Obama's easy second term ticket

Apparently Obama should have more to worry about than a Mitt Money Loving Romney rival, a new poll has suggested. President Barack Obama holds a clear lead over Mitt Romney in a hypothetical general election match-up, according to a new
Washington Post-ABC News poll.
Among all Americans, Obama leads Romney 52 to 43 percent, whereas among registered voters, the presidents has a narrower edge over Romney, 51 to 45 percent. This is the first time that Obama has more than 50 percent of the votes in a match-up against Romney among all Americans since July, when the president led the GOP candidate, 51 to 44 percent.
But the president has progress to make in instilling economic confidence in Americans – asked which candidate can be trusted to do a better job in handling the economy, 48 percent of the general population picked Romney over 45 percent that picked Obama. The Republican frontrunner also fared better job creation, narrowly beating Obama 47 to 45 percent, as well as the handling of the federal budget and deficit, 51 to 41 percent.
It is the first time that the president has topped 50 percent in a match-up against Romney among registered voters.
The survey also showed, however, that people trust Obama will be a better champion of the middle class than Romney, 55 to 37 percent. Also, 56 percent of the general population said they trust that the president would do a better job handling international affairs compared to just 37 percent that picked Romney. Similarly, the majority said the president’s handling of terrorism will be better than Romney’s, 56 to 36 percent.
Obama is also seen as having a better understanding of the American people’s economic problems than Romney, 53 to 36 percent.
The Washington Post-ABC News poll was conducted Feb. 1-4 among 1,000 adults and has a margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points.
